TerraPins, n. 1.
Natural hardwood clothespins made to last generations.
Today, high quality clothespins are extremely hard to find. Most varieties available in stores break in a
matter of weeks. The springs rust or pop out. Multiple clothespins can't hold heavy items. The list of complaints could go on...
Look Familiar???
Over the years, our family became increasingly frustrated with clothespins that just fell apart after a few uses. Searching the internet for
some lasting solution, our sister discovered a set of plans to manufacture your own
clothespins. After making some
prototypes, we ordered American ash wood from a small, family-owned lumber mill
in Wisconsin, purchased some USA-made stainless steel springs, and created our
first batch of TerraPins. Since our
first production, we continue to manufacture quality clothespins. Each TerraPin clothespin is carefully tumble-sanded and
lightly finished with natural, flax-derived linseed oil, then individually
inspected to ensure our customers receive only the best.
The TerraPin assembly line
It is our goal to help reinstate the old-fashioned way of drying laundry naturally by providing our customers with heirloom-quality clothespins. TerraPin's mission is to ensure that you—and your children and grandchildren—will enjoy a greener life using durable, top-of-the-line clothespins.
