The TerraPin Difference

What's the difference between TerraPins

and other clothespins?

Size

At 3-1/2 inches long, Terrapins are bigger than most clothespins on the market

USA Crafted

TerraPins are hand crafted in North Dakota, using Wisconsin ash wood, USA linseed oil, and US steel springs.

Springs

Terrapins are made with stainless steel American made springs that won't rust.  Heavy duty springs mean that TerraPins stay together.

Wood

TerraPins are crafted from hard Wisconsin ash ensuring longevity.  Mass produced clothespins are either soft pine or bamboo which degrade rapidly.

Finish

Each TerraPin clothespin is tumble-sanded once, and then tumbled one more time with linseed oil to preserve the wood.  Unlike cheaply built clothespins, which might give you splinters, TerraPins are very smooth-- with a furniture quality finish.

Heirloom quality

TerraPins are built to last, so that you can pass your clothespins on to your children.

Producer

You order TerraPins directly from the craftsmen who have a story rather than receiving factory packaged generic clothespins.
